Topic

Our new topic is all about Southam and Struay. Struay is the fictional place where Katie Morag lives. The Island it is based on is called Coll. We will be learning all about what it is like to live in both places and what you might see when you are there.

Today we are going to start by locating the countries in the United Kingdom. I wonder if you can name any of the four counties that are in the UK?

Today’s activity is set on Purple Mash. Please follow the 2do to complete the work.

PSHE-

We will discuss PSHE during out 11:30 zoom on Tuesday.

Once we have completed this it would be brilliant if you could create a poster of what our different feelings may look like. We will be talking about how some feelings are comfortable and how others may make us feel uncomfortable. You can use lots of colour and drawings to help you. I will show you an example of mine during our zoom.

Art-

During Art this half term we are going to be looking at seascapes. We will then be creating our own seascape art work. Today I would like you to have a look at the Powerpoint and think about what colours and textures you can see. I would then like you to have a look around your house and see if there is anything that you can find that resembles a seascape. You can take photo graphs of the items or if you ask your parents you may be able to take a cutting to create a board of colours and textures. This can be using photographs or the real items.
